Time for Celebrating at Heartland

Time for Celebrating at Heartland

Heartland Bank is no stranger to celebrations, and we’ve had two big ones this year! It all started with a mid-year Billion Dollar Bash in the fall, and then on Saturday, December 8, the Heartland Bank family gathered at the Hilton Columbus at Easton for the 22nd Annual Silent Auction and Holiday Celebration. Proceeds from the event are donated to several local charities.

21st Annual Heartland Bank Charity Golf Classic

21st Annual Heartland Bank Charity Golf Classic

“Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail…” – you’ve probably heard this quote about the postman. This is what our golf committee was thinking as they welcomed the participants on September 28th to the rain-delayed and rescheduled 21st Annual Heartland Bank Charity Golf Classic. Originally planned for September 10th, the rain-soaked course at the Columbus Country Club just couldn’t recover fast enough from the weekend downpours to provide adequate play for the participants. With a new venue this year, Heartland Bank was not excited to postpone the event, but it remained sold-out even for the rescheduled date. Not to mention, this was the first time in Heartland Charity Golf history that the event had to be rescheduled.

Joel Oney puts his heart in Heartland

Joel Oney puts his heart in Heartland

Heartland Bank values tradition – boasting whenever possible about the founding members and their determination to form the Croton Bank Company (later renamed Heartland Bank) in a small farming community in Central Ohio to serve a valued segment of the workforce. Heartland’s story starts in the fields of Licking County and continues with a Vice President and Manager of Agribusiness Banking, Joel Oney, plowing ahead and leading his team to counties throughout Central Ohio and beyond.
