Hello Andrew Miller!

Heartland Bank has an asset that many companies would love to have…an amazing group of talented and devoted associates. Loyalty, honesty and integrity are qualities that empower these associates to accomplish even the most challenging goals. After five and a half years, Andrew Miller is proud to be a Heartland Bank mortgage loan officer, and he credits his team’s success to these qualities and the individual attention they give to every relationship.

“The personal touch of Heartland is unmatched - where clients can walk into a branch, and we call them by name. We are invested in learning about their personal lives and their families, so we can best serve their financial needs.” Andrew can help with a purchase, refinance or construction loan, but he will also explore his clients’ overall background so that he can present loan programs that make sense and request information that is needed to process and underwrite the mortgages.

Andrew’s achievements at the bank reflect his dedication to the client. During his Heartland career, he has earned both Gold and Platinum tier honors from the Columbus Mortgage Bankers Association. These are awarded based on annual mortgage loan production - evidence that his dedication and commitment are making a difference, even during the challenges of the past several years.

“From Tiney McComb to Scott McComb to Kailyn (McComb) Bucklew, Heartland is a family business invested in the community and making Columbus a better place to live and a place that works to help the smaller businesses thrive,” said Andrew as he explained the drive and concept behind Heartland’s success. It’s what contributes to the drive and goals of each Heartland associate with Andrew a prime example as he has set his sights on a management roll as his career progresses.

According to SVP, Director of Mortgage Banking Matthew Booms, “Andrew is a team player, whose work-ethic and personality make him a customer favorite. He communicates, collaborates, and drives innovative lending solutions for his clients. Andrew’s track record of reliable success makes him an emerging leader on the Mortgage team who is primed to make even larger contributions.”

Andrew’s dedication is also portrayed through his advice to new Heartland associates. “Be a sponge and soak up information from everyone you come across. The more people you can interact with at the bank, the greater opportunity to succeed and open new doors/opportunities within the bank.” It is also evident in his description of quality and excellence in the workplace. “Quality and excellence means doing the right things when nobody is watching. Lending a hand to co-workers in need, serving our clients to the best of our abilities and approaching each day with a mindset of making yourself and those around you better.”

Born in Toledo, Ohio, and growing up in Medina, Andrew played soccer in college for Ohio Wesleyan University and graduated in 2012. After spending a few years in Cleveland after college, he eventually made Columbus his home, but retained that devotion to the Browns. “My personal goal involves staying alive long enough to see the Browns win a Super Bowl.” Andrew also participates in the Elevate Cbus Program for aspiring leaders in various industries in Columbus, enjoys golfing, following Cleveland sports and traveling with his fiancé.

If you’d like a mortgage banker that is devoted to your relationship like Andrew is devoted to his Heartland family, come on over to Heartland Bank and reach out to Andrew directly!
