The holidays at Heartland Bank have always been an inspirational time, allowing the bank to annually honor its associates. On Saturday, December 9, the Heartland Bank family gathered at Copius, in downtown Columbus, to celebrate the season and contribute to a successful new year for many local charities by donating during the 21st annual Silent Auction.

After opening a new branch in Hilliard mid-year 2016, Heartland Bank wasted no time reserving our next spot in the trendy community of Clintonville. Opening on October 3^rd and located at 4476 North High Street, this branch offers easy access, a modern open space with comfortable alcoves, and a dog bowl at the front door welcoming our four-legged friends as they pass by on sidewalk strolls throughout the day.

What started out as an effort to help a few local children’s charities in 1996 has blossomed into a full-fledged annual fundraising event that has been gaining momentum in each of the last 20 years. Since that first golf outing in 1996, when the Bank made a small donation to the Licking County 4H Horse Council to last year when six local charities selected by the Bank collected a total of $30,000, Heartland has made benevolent donations of almost $449,000. Former recipients of funds from the Charity Golf Classic include Big Brother & Sisters of Central Ohio, Ronald McDonald House, March of Dimes, the Buckeye Ranch Foundation and Junior Achievement, among many others.
