Not enrolled in Online Banking yet? It's easy - simply go to the login box on our website and choose Enroll in Online/Mobile Banking, or download our Mobile App and follow the prompts to enroll via the login screen.

Text Banking

The mobile banking option for those who love to text!

Is texting your thing, or maybe you just can’t make the switch to a smartphone? Heartland’s still got you covered!

Enroll in Text Banking - go to "Services", then Text Enrollment
Enable each account by going to "Settings" and then "Account Preferences" AND establish text nicknames for each of those accounts
Use text banking commands to request information about your balances and recent transactions
You’ll receive a SMS text message reply with your most up-to-date account details

Text Banking Guide

Text Banking requires each account in Online/Mobile Banking to have a nickname. When creating nicknames, use only FOUR characters.

Text commands to 226563

SMS texting format = COMMAND(space)<Account Nickname> (Example: BAL Main)

COMMAND = SMS message action identifier

COMMAND	RESULTS
BAL	List of all account nicknames & balances
BAL <nickname>	Balance on specified account
HIST <nickname>	Account history for specific account
XFER account <nickname 1> account <nickname 2> amount	Transfer the specified amount from acount 1 to account 2
STOP	Stops all further text message communication
LIST	List of text banking commands
HELP	List of contact points at the bank
