Online Banking - New & Improved

Coming March 2020 to give you a better online banking experience!

In an effort to bring you the best possible online banking experience, we are upgrading our Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Bill Pay solutions.  This enhancement comes with more flexibility, reliability and control, but you will also find that there are a few important changes that will affect the way you use Online Banking.

New Online Banking Features

  • Seamless experience on desktop, tablet and mobile
  • Personal budgeting and financial tools
  • Pay a Friend - a new person-to-person payment service
  • Card Swap - easily update and change how you pay at popular online retailers
  • Biller Direct - instantly pay your bills using your debit or credit card
  • Convenient and flexible alerts
  • Text banking
  • And more...

What can I expect when logging in to the new system for the first time?

  • All of your account information - your scheduled automatic payments and account history - will seamlessly transition to the new system on Wednesday, March 11.
  • When you log in to the new system on Wednesday, March 11, you will use your existing Login ID credentials.
  • At first log in, you will be prompted to establish a new password.
  • At first log in, you will be required to enter a Secure Access Code that you will receive immediately via your choice of email, phone call or text message. Follow the onscreen instructions to proceed.

What do I need to know about Bill Pay?

  • Through 11:59 p.m. on March 3, 2020, pay your bills and schedule for future payments as you normally would.  Be sure to pre-schedule anything that needs to be paid March 3 - March 10 as the Bill Pay system will be unavailable due to data navigation and conversion maintenance.  We have systems in place to help ensure that any bill payments you have pre-scheduled to post during this timeframe will be paid on schedule.  Please be assured that all current payees will migrate to the new Bill Pay system.
  • If you currently use Heartland's eBill (bill presentment) feature, you will need to re-enroll those payees in the new Bill Pay system.
  • Our current Popmoney person to person payment system is being replaced with a new system called Pay a Friend.  All Popmoney payees will need to be reestablished in either Bill Pay or the Pay a Friend service.

What about the Mobile App?

  • If you access Online Banking and Bill Pay through our mobile app and aren't enrolled in automatic updates, you'll need to manually update the Heartland Bank Mobile App to enjoy all the new features.
