The Food Truck Fest will be held this Saturday, July 30, on South Yearling Road, between Etna and Langley Roads, in Whitehall, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. The festival, sponsored in part by Heartland Bank, is a one day event featuring more than 35 of the best food trucks in Ohio, great drink options, two stages with live entertainment, some of the region’s best arts and crafts vendors and family fun for all ages.

Food trucks attending this year’s event include Boston Bert’s Seafood, Alice’s Comfort Table, Donatos Pizza, paddy Wagon, Aloha Streatery and more. The band lineup includes Social Crush, The Fabulous Johnson Brothers, Drew Allen, Locker 15, Captain Kid and the 17th Floor. The City has partnered again with Employment for Seniors (a local non-profit) for its annual race fundraiser to support their mission of helping mature job seekers find employment. The EFS 4miler, which is for both runners and walkers, will kick off at 9 a.m. from the football field at Whitehall Yearling High School and end at the Festival’s Community State near Langley Avenue.

“Whitehall is excited to showcase all it has,” said Gail Martineau, Whitehall Community Affairs Coordinator. “We’ve been growing our successes over the past three year and have added even more food trucks, bands and activities.”

Design plans are being formalized for Heartland’s new corporate center, located at the gateway of Whitehall Community Park. “Thanks to the continued loyalty of our clients and our best of breed community bankers, we continue to successfully expand community banking in central Ohio. I am excited to be able to partner with the City of Whitehall on multiple fronts,” said G. Scott McComb, Chairman, President and CEO of Heartland Bank.
