Trove Warehouse – The Appeal is Real

Trove Warehouse – The Appeal is Real

Friday, November 9, 2018/Categories: Customer Stories

Appealing is putting it mildly! Trove Warehouse is an experience destined to transform your living spaces while providing an atmosphere that is both visually embracing and thought provoking. Cindy Barker, Breane Walter and Lauren Lemoine, family owners and decorating gurus, combine forces to create a one-of-a-kind home decorating destination with unique pieces, fun finds and a “living furniture store” format that will entice you to visit often.

The “living furniture store” format was their vision and dream after a lifetime of exposure to the furniture industry through family connections and work environments. They envisioned a space where small, intimate furniture vignettes would be ever-changing to encourage shoppers to visit often for inspiration and motivation. The traditional stores displaying furniture pieces lined in aisles offer very little creativity, and these ladies were driven to offer something at the other end of the spectrum - and their first home at 2325 Wood Avenue near Upper Arlington did not disappoint!

They converted an old warehouse space on Wood Avenue into a showroom featuring gorgeous lighting, inviting furniture, comfy rugs and household embellishments. As eight years flew by, the trio tossed around the idea of a second location, and after some research and tracking by Lauren, they determined that the New Albany area would be an exciting option. This area of the Columbus market was just far away enough from their first location to attract new customers, but not far enough to deter avid Trove shoppers from checking out the new space. The new location at 5850 Zarley Street in New Albany just opened with a warehouse design to match its sister store in UA. They will offer all the same extras at the NA store as their customers have grown to love at their UA store.

One of those extras is their Happy Hour event which is designed to invite customers into their locations for a relaxing three-hour stretch of drinks, snacks and socializing. This takes place on the Third Thursday of each month from 4 – 7 PM. During the holidays, they pair their Holiday Happy Hours (every Thursday and Friday, November through December from 4 – 7 PM) with Trove Tidings where visitors can join them in supporting a local charitable organization and then receive a promotion card as a thank you. For more details, check out their website, Facebook and Instagram for all the latest festivities.

Trove is adamant about giving back to the communities that support them which flows right along with their commitment to their banking relationship at Heartland Bank, Central Ohio’s Community Bank. “This is the first bank that felt like home and it wasn’t just another bank. They came in and they listened to us. They heard our story,” shared Lauren.

According to Drew Kessler, Branch Manager at the Gahanna location, “The one thing I have experienced in working with the Trove team is that their business is the definition of a family business. It is not only run by the family, they make customers and business partners feel like part of the family. When you get a chance to meet with any one of their employees, you are treated with the utmost respect and sincerity that just doesn’t happen with most businesses today. I have loved working with them and I look forward to continuing the relationship as they grow along with our bank.

If you’re looking for a banking relationship that is both appealing and real, stop by any one of our 15 branch locations and talk to any one of our associates about making Heartland Bank your bank!
