Congratulations to This Month's Employee Spotlight - Julie Radabaugh

Sunday, January 26, 2014/Categories: Employee Spotlight

Julie RadabaughThis month’s employee spotlight features the Stygler Road branch office Assistant Manager Julie Radabaugh, an eleven year employee that is proud to have her thumb on the pulse of the branch. As Assistant Manager, Julie greets customers and helps them complete their transactions. You can also find her behind the “line” over-riding a computer restriction, standing in with dual control verification or stepping in to work the tubes or drawer at the drive-through lane on a busy day. “I am most proud of the customer base I have built over the years,” Julie said. “My goal is to treat everyone like they are my most important transaction of the day.”

The Quality and Excellence Award has been a tradition at Heartland Bank since 1994 and many of our employees proudly wear the pin each day that signifies this honor. Employees that have been given this award were chosen based on excellent customer service, being an example of a team player, helping other employees and exceeding the expectations of their job duties and responsibilities. Heartland President Scott McComb awarded Julie with her Quality and Excellence Award back in August of 2004 and said of her work at the bank, “Julie exemplifies the "Heartland Sprit" by going above and beyond for every client. Anyone who has had the pleasure of dealing with her knows that she is always positive, informative and eager to serve every client consistently every day. She truly tries to make each and every day count!”

“I’ve always loved my job and my Heartland Bank family,” Julie said. That Heartland Bank family includes not only her co-workers in the branch on Stygler Road, but the support teams that work behind the scenes. Many people don’t realize that the Client Services team works extra hours to be “on-call” for customers after the branches close their doors during the week. “I appreciate them every day because they help people in my position be successful!”

A voracious reader, Julie enjoys trading books with both clients and co-workers. She’s the treasurer for the Olde Gahanna Community Partnership (OGCP) organization that fosters a climate of “community” for both residents and businesses alike in the Olde Gahanna area. She particularly enjoys the OGCP sponsored Paws in the Plaza event that is held monthly at Creekside and thrives on being the “face of Heartland Bank” at those events. She and her husband are proud parents of two children, Tanya and Kyle. She also loves spending time with her five month old granddaughter, Myah.

Julie is someone that we are proud to call a part of our family. Congratulations on being featured in this week’s employee spotlight! We enjoy working with Julie and know that you’ll enjoy banking with her, too. Stop by the Stygler Road office in Gahanna and say hello!
