Whether you’re just looking for a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon, a food lover eager to taste a delicious mix of the best food trucks in Columbus or a music fan looking to hear great live music, the Whitehall Food Truck & Fun Festival is an event that offers something for everyone!
The Food Truck Fest will be held this Saturday, July 29, on South Yearling Road, between Etna and Langley Roads, in Whitehall, from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The festival, sponsored in part by Heartland Bank, is a one-day event featuring more than 30 of the best food trucks in Ohio, great drink options, two stages with live entertainment, some of the region’s best arts and crafts vendors and family fun for all ages.
Food trucks attending this year’s event include Paddy Wagon, Chicky Chicky Waffle Truck, Trucking Delicious, La Carne, Ninja Bowl, Red Snapper and more. The band lineup includes The Fabulous Johnson Brothers, Lee Gantt, Nashville Crush, The Lepolion Effect and national recording artist Chase Bryant. “We expect the Food Truck & Fun Fest to grow with the city,” said Kaitlin King, Community Affairs Manager. “A multitude of food trucks applied to participate this year, we’ve added more entertainers for kids and booked nationally-known country artist Chase Bryant.”
After a groundbreaking in the fall of 2016, Heartland’s new corporate center is moving closer to completion and our employees look forward to an early 2018 move-in. According to Scott McComb, Heartland’s President & CEO, “Whitehall is a vibrant city that has a lot to offer. This location at the gateway to Whitehall Community Park is really the essence of why we made the decision to come to Whitehall. It’s convenient to all of our operations, it worked out logistically and we loved the area.
