We’ve got a collection of some of the great events that you should put on your list of ‘things to do’ and hopefully, we’ll get to see you when you’re out and about this summer!

Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival
Jazz Stage, presented by Heartland Bank
June 16-18, Mill, Town and Walnut Streets in the Creekside District

Hosted by the Gahanna Convention and Visitors Bureau, this music festival is the showcase for the best blues and jazz music in Ohio, if not the Midwest. Music isn't all that this renowned event has to offer. Centered around Creekside Park, the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival promises something for everyone with more than 90 hours of entertainment, bourbon and craft beer tastings, free Family Fun Zone, artisans, amusement rides and of course great food! Join us at the Heartland Bank RV, parked directly adjacent to the Jazz Stage. 

Downtown Newark Association’s
Final Fridays, co-sponsored by Heartland Bank
Cruise in to Newark
Friday, June 30, downtown Newark

The final Friday of each month, downtown Newark comes alive with special events, extended store hours and live entertainment. Leave the routine of your daily grind behind and head to nearby Licking County for a Final Friday Escape. Nothing says classy like a classic car. Enjoy an evening cruising the car display and cashing in on special shopping offers at Downtown Newark boutiques and restaurants.

Westerville Music & Arts Festival, presented by Heartland Bank
July 8-9, Heritage Park

Hosted by the Westerville Chamber of Commerce, you’ll enjoy this family friendly outdoor event that features fine art and craft exhibits, and live entertainment. Win prizes at the Heartland Bank booth and meet our Westerville Branch Manager Chuck Woodson and VP Commercial Relationship Manager Laurie Pfeiffer!

Summer Jam
July 8, Westgate Park

Summer Jam is a community friendly, free art and music festival held annually at Westgate Park. Bringing joy, music and art to the Hilltop, organizers will take advantage of warm summer days in a beautiful green park setting to bring family, friends and neighbors together. Wilson Road Branch Manager Peggy Frebault and Universal Banker Jetta Berry (who also serves as Summer Jam treasurer) will be volunteering at the event, so stop by and say hello! 

Picktown Palooza
July 13-16, Victory Park

Picktown Palooza is a brand new, four-day celebration of the Pickerington community that offers a variety of fun and entertainment. Whether it is the carnival rides, the more than 15 food vendors, the national entertainment line-up, the Freedom 5k and kids' fun run, or the car & bike show, the Palooza has something for families and individuals of all ages.

Whitehall Food Truck & Fun Fest
Saturday, July 29, Yearling Road

Eat and drink all day and night at the 2017 Whitehall Food Truck & Fun Fest on Saturday, July 29th! Drawing an attendance of 15,000 guests, Whitehall’s is one of the largest food truck festivals in Central Ohio, featuring more than 35 food trucks, live music and family fun.  As part of the live music line-up, national recording artist Chase Bryant has been secured as the headlining act! In conjunction with other great regional bands, a wide variety of arts & crafts and eclectic food options we hope to make this our most successful festival yet. Please join us in celebrating this year and many to come!

Hartford Fair
August 5-12, Fairgrounds, Croton, Ohio

The Demolition Derby (August 8) is the highlight of Heartland Bank Day at the 159th annual Hartford Fair. If you’re looking for some smash ‘em, crash ‘em excitement, stop in and visit with Johnstown Branch Manager Tanya Bennett at the Heartland Bank RV on the west side of the grandstand!

Reynoldsburg Tomato Festival, presented by Heartland Bank
August 18-19, Huber Park on Davidson Drive

Festival goers enjoy tomato displays and contests, concessions, arts and craft exhibits, live musical entertainment, children’s activities and the opportunity to meet the friendly people of Reynoldsburg at this 52nd annual event! Stop by and visit with Reynoldsburg Branch Manager Brent Carroll and his staff!

Cruise the ‘Ville
Saturday, August 19, 2017, Whetstone Park, Clintonville

Presented by the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce and 610 WTVN the 15th Annual Cruise the 'Ville Car Show. Saturday, August 19, 2017 10:00am-5:00pm at Whetstone Park. Join WTVN's John Corby and 225+ cars, a variety of food trucks, business showcase, music, touch-a-truck (Snow plow, SWAT, cement mixer, over 20 trucks), a police helicopter, children's activities and fun for the whole family. Admission to the public is free. 

Grove City Arts in the Alley, presented by Heartland Bank
September 16-17, Downtown Grove City

Hosted by the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, more than 100 juried exhibitors display and sell fine art, photography, jewelry, crafts, fabric art, glasswork, pottery and wood creations. Saturday morning’s parade highlights a weekend of musical entertainment featured on the Heartland Bank stage at this 38th annual event! Stop in and visit with VP, Branch Manager Shirley Spellman and her staff from the Grove City Branch.

Enjoy a restful and refreshing summer! Take time to read a book, take a walk, go on a picnic and don’t miss the festivals and events sponsored by your friends at Heartland Bank.
