This month’s Employee Spotlight features another effective leader and respected colleague of the Heartland Bank team, our VP, Commercial Relationship Manager in Grove City, Bob Crow. He began his career at Heartland in March of 2006 as a Commercial Loan Processor. A proud graduate of Muskingum College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, he works hard as an advisor for local businesses with respect to their commercial financial needs.

This month’s Employee Spotlight features Vice President, Director of Credit Administration, Joe Duffey. A native of Buffalo, NY and proud graduate of Cansius College, Joe is a self-professed sports fan who loves the Buckeyes, is an original Columbus Blue Jackets season ticket holder (PSL #46!), cheers on the Columbus Crew SC and after watching a game at The Big House in Ann Arbor, has added ‘Visit all Big Ten football stadiums’ to his bucket list. 

Most every company has one of ‘those’ employees. They’re the first to volunteer for after-work or Saturday events. They’re the ones who call the Marketing Department to say ‘I’ll help set up the banquet room for the Holiday party’ or ‘Count on me to work the fund-raiser for Pelotonia’ or ‘I can help at the Golf Outing – what do you need me to do?’. At Heartland Bank, Paula Brutchey, AVP Operations Manager, is one of ‘those’…..

This month’s employee spotlight features Grove City Branch Manager, Vice President Shirley Spellman. After studying Secondary Education at The Ohio State University, she’s spent 30+ years in the banking industry and has been a valued Heartland Bank employee since 2003. Her first job at Heartland was as the Gahanna Branch Manager, where she enjoyed the opportunity to meet and form close working relationships with other department employees housed at the corporate office.

Many people might be challenged to think about their banker as a biker. But, here at Heartland Bank, we’re proud of our very own ‘biker banker’, AO, Assistant Branch Manager at the Wilson Road office, Kelli Hetrick-Mashburn. In her spare time, Kelli enjoys riding motorcycles and was one of nearly 2,500 bikers at the 2014 Highway Hikers Toy Run. The proceeds from this charity ride support almost 2,000 underprivileged children in nearby Clark County.
