Buckeye Lake Marina is Open for Business!

Buckeye Lake Marina is Open for Business!

Buckeye Lake Marina, 2920 Canal Drive in Millersport and located directly on the lake, has weathered its share of storms in the past, but nothing like the financial storm of uncertainty after the announcement in March of 2015 by the United States Army Corps of Engineers that the lake would be scheduled for a rebuild project for a failing dam. 21st Annual Heartland Bank Charity Golf Classic

21st Annual Heartland Bank Charity Golf Classic

“Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail…” – you’ve probably heard this quote about the postman. This is what our golf committee was thinking as they welcomed the participants on September 28th to the rain-delayed and rescheduled 21st Annual Heartland Bank Charity Golf Classic. Originally planned for September 10th, the rain-soaked course at the Columbus Country Club just couldn’t recover fast enough from the weekend downpours to provide adequate play for the participants. With a new venue this year, Heartland Bank was not excited to postpone the event, but it remained sold-out even for the rescheduled date. Not to mention, this was the first time in Heartland Charity Golf history that the event had to be rescheduled.
